This site is operated by Career Ventures Public Benefit Corporation. This policy explains what information we collect when you interact with careerventures.ai, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. We've written it the way we'd want to read it — plainly, without legal theatre.

01Who we are

This site is operated by Career Ventures Public Benefit Corporation ("Career Ventures," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation. Career Ventures is the parent company; our first product, Career Twin (careertwin.com), is operated by us and has its own dedicated privacy policy that governs interactions specific to that site.

02What we collect

This site does not host any web form. The primary way to share information with us is by sending email to hello@careerventures.ai — through one of our three "Join us" pathways (Beta, Partners, Advisors) or directly.

When you write to us, we receive:

  • Your name and email address as they appear in your message
  • The content of your message and any documents you attach
  • Standard email headers (date, time, routing information)

When you visit careerventures.ai itself, your browser submits routine technical information — IP address, browser type, referring page — to our hosting provider for the purpose of serving the page. We do not separately log, store, or analyse this information.

We do not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site.

03How we use what we collect

We use the information in your message to:

  • Reply directly to your inquiry
  • Follow up on conversations about beta access, partnerships, or advisory opportunities
  • Send occasional updates about Career Ventures and the wider ecosystem we are building, including Career Twin

We will not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We will not enrol you in any other mailing list without telling you first.

04Where we store it

Messages you send to hello@careerventures.ai are received and stored on our email provider's servers. We treat your message the way any responsible business treats correspondence: read it, reply to it, file it, and keep it only as long as it is reasonably useful for our ongoing relationship.

We do not currently operate an automated customer-relationship management system on this site. If we adopt one in the future and the change materially affects how your data is stored or processed, we will update this policy and notify anyone who has previously written to us before the change takes effect.

05Career Twin — a separate product, a separate policy

If you also use our product site at careertwin.com, your interactions there are governed by the Career Twin Privacy Policy. Career Twin has its own data flow (a sign-up form rather than email correspondence) and its own storage layer, but the same operator and the same principles apply: minimal collection, no third-party trackers, full rights of access and deletion.

If you appear in both lists, you can ask either site to delete your record independently, or both at once. Either way, write to hello@careerventures.ai.

06Cookies and tracking

This site does not set cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking script. The only requests your browser makes are to load the page, the fonts (Google Fonts), and any image assets served from our hosting provider.

07Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your record entirely
  • Export your data in a portable format

Email hello@careerventures.ai with the request. We aim to respond within seven business days. There is no cost.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, you have specific rights under your local data-protection law — including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). All of those rights apply through the same email channel above.

08How long we keep your data

We keep your message for as long as the conversation is open and for a reasonable period after, in case you write to us again. You can ask us to delete your record at any time (see Section 07). If we close a particular pathway (Beta / Partners / Advisors), we will delete the associated records within ninety days unless you have asked us to retain them.

09International transfers

Our email and hosting providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in, or transferred through, countries other than the one you live in — including the United States. Where required by your local law, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms with our providers.

10Children

Career Ventures is built for working professionals. The site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact hello@careerventures.ai and we will delete the record.

11Security

We use industry-standard protections: encrypted connections (HTTPS) for every page, encrypted storage for your record, and least-privilege access controls on our backend. No system is impervious; if a breach affecting your data ever occurs, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authorities as soon as required under applicable law.

12Changes to this policy

If we update this policy materially, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top, and where the change affects how we use existing data, we will email you before the change takes effect.
